So...It's been awhile since I've posted a journal here...

I'm starting a new page specifically to advertise my crafts for sale.  I'll still be using this page for my personal and fun pieces, though.  I'm still deciding whether or not I'll be moving all of the glass etching images over or not, so a heads up if you're wondering why stuff from my gallery has disappeared.  And hopefully I'll be starting an etsy account to make buying my crafts easier.

Other than that the only significant thing was finally graduating college.  Now I have to finish my resume and find a job...yay me...

Congrats! And now a word of advice! If you decide to open up a etsy account, and you really should if you're planning on selling your work (what better way right?), then as someone who has worked at a bank for over six months, may I suggest you open a SEPARATE bank account for that. I say this for multiple reasons and I will list them for you here:

1. If you start to get really popular with your work, and you begin to make enough, you might want to think about opening up a business account. The only reason you'd want to do this is if this would be your main form of income, and if it was, you'd need it for tax purposes. Otherwise, meh, business accounts wouldn't be needed.

2. If you are going to have them pay vai paypal and you're linking one of your bank accounts to paypal, you really don't want to have your main one linked to it in case it gets hacked. And lets be real here, purchasing and selling things online is sometimes an invitation to get hacked. Even if you're careful.

3. If you are using the payment method such as money orders or checks, you will want to verify that the checks are the real deal (if possible) before depositing them because if they're not, then they'll bounce. Also, sometimes people will make fake checks with the sole purpose of getting access to other peoples account, so again, you don't want it going into your main bank account.

I feel like such a geek giving out all this information, but I'd hate to see something like the above happen to you~! If you want more info, feel free to chat with me!
